Classical composers devoted quite a few pages of their work to children. These musical works are written taking into account the peculiarities of children's perception, many of them - especially for small performers, according to their technical capabilities.
World of children's music

The noise of the wings and the chirp of the birds that flew in to help him are transmitted by virtuoso glissandos and trills of three solo violins, flute exclamations.
The third fairy tale is about the bathing empress of Chinese figurines, who floats to the sound of puppet music played by her subjects on instruments from a nutshell. The play is distinguished by its Chinese flavor, its themes are built on the characteristic for Chinese music pentatonic. A graceful puppet march is performed by an orchestra with celesta, bells, xylophone, cymbals and tom-toms.
In the 4th play, the waltz tells about the Beauty, who fell in love with the Beast for his kind heart. In the finale, the spell is broken, and the Beast becomes a handsome prince. Children can easily recognize the heroes of a fairy tale: the sound of the elegant clarinet melody - Beauty, the heavy theme of the counterpart of the enchanted Prince Monster. When a miraculous transformation is performed, the prince begins to own the melody of a solo violin, and then the cello.
The finale of the suite paints a picture of a fabulous and beautiful garden ("Magic Garden").
Contemporary composers for children
Before the creators of children's music in the XX century. The difficult task of introducing young performers and listeners to the perception of the characteristics of a significantly renewed musical language arose. Musical masterpieces for children create SS. Prokofiev, K. Orff, B. Bartok and other prominent composers.
